The function str_replace() DOES NOT change the parameter. Rather,
str_replace() returns the desired string. Try changing your code to:
for($num = 0; $cntr < $num; $cntr++)
{
$someArray[$num] = str_replace(' ','',$someArray[$num]);
echo "$someArray[$num]<br />";
}
