The same basic thing happened to me when I was working on an interface to the PayPal NVP API for their Website Payments Pro setup yesterday. It took me almost four hours of debugging with no error return to realize I had an ending slash on a non-directory URI (it was an "extensionless" file). -- Daniel P.
