I want to keep the value of the listbox to submitted value. To do this when using a text area I use the code <INPUT NAME="mail_subject" value="<?=$subject; ?>" SIZE="40"> The line value="<?=$subject; ?>" Keeps the value of $subject that was previously entered in the textarea even after the form is submitted with php_self().
