as stated in news://news.php.net:119/4e89b42604122919514dd2c4f8@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (internals) the status of this is still unknown. The PHP Development Team is working on it however, and my guess is that it will be fixed for 4.3.11 (due for beta in January)
