Assuming I understand you correctly, you want to connect to your office computer, which is running apache, from home. The fact that you are using win98 isn't particularly relevent, provided you can connect to the internet with it. Are you talking about connecting to your office computer through the internet, or establishing a DialUp Link directly between your home, and office? If it is the former, then all you need to do, is put your office's IP into the address bar instead of http://localhost. Your office enviornment is more relevent than anything else on this matter.
