No, its really up to the OS to figure out what to do whan a
segfault happens.

You can try finding it by issuing:

$ locate httpd.conf

or if that doesnt result with anything:

$ find / -name "httpd.conf"


If no results are found in either one of those, I would suspect
your system isn't generating .core files.
