php 4.4.4, can't get "memory_get_usage" to work

I've compiled php 4.4.4 on my new Intel Mac OS X Server box with the
--enable-memory-limit, but I still get errors when trying to use the
"memory_get_usage()" function.

I've attached the output of my "php -i"...

The compile statement I used is:
