Hi,

I have a problem in installing Php5.0.3 with Apache2.0.35. (Not only these versions, any version of php with any version of apache does not work on my system)

The details of the environment is given below:

Web server : Apache2.0.35

Php version : 5.0.3 as server module

OS : XP professional 2002, SP 2

Description:

1. Apache installs fine.

2. After adding the line , LoadModule php5_module "C:/php5/php5apache2.dll" into httpd.conf, when the apache server is restarted, the error it gives is

“The requested operation has failed”.

When you run the apache from cmd prompt, the error reported is :

Syntax error on line 173 of C:/Program Files/Apache Group/Apache2/conf/httpd.conf:

Cannot load C:/php5/php5apache2.dll into server: The specified procedure could not be found.

But php5apache2.dll does exist and the path is also correct.

I am struggling to bring up apache and php(for many months!!!), but all in vain. I have tried all options( I am the administrator of the machine), crossed checked all permissions, even then no use!!!

Used dependency checker, it shows many dependencies(dll’s not present in the system). Please help.

Regards,

Amith
