I think FB is the best & logical successor to our forum. Not a perfect alignment, but as close as we're gonna get, minus some of the work & time overhead for Andy. As long as it's members only.

Hi Yoram and all,In my opinion the Facebook presence did not affect the PF Gallery contributions. One member who regularly posts there (and I lift off to add to gallery) is Lew Schwartz. In any case it there is interest in putting another book together I am ready to organize it. Hopefully there would be more than a dozen participants. So, .... any "takers"????AndyPS: Yoram, thank you for your note ... it has been an interesting 30 years!!AndyOn Sat, Feb 22, 2025 at 1:53 PM YGelmanPhoto <ygelmanphoto@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hello All!
I’m a bit surprised by how quickly some friends are willing to say
goodbye. My own reaction to Andy’s sad message was to curse myself
for my low level of recent participation and send off a photo.
Why not more of us do that?
I also realize that I really never thanked Andy for his magnificent
work in maintaining the Forum. So, Andy, just a big, big virtual hug
and heartfelt thank you. And if it is really time to close it down,
then so be it and . . .
At least we have some hard copy memories in our books.
Here’s hoping,

P.S. I really don’t like Facebook; and feel that introducing it into
the Forum was a turning point, leading to less frequent interaction
among contributors. For what it's worth, I'm going to try engaging
that way again.
