I like that ... it's a way of saying goodbye "with a bang" (giving the
gallery a send off) instead of just letting it fade away unnoticed.

I'm right with you over the lively discussion ... but that was at a
time when there was only the listserv.

The world has changed - with FB - instagram - Twitter - and probably a
dozen more outlets ti's no longer "an event" to see pictures and
receive comments.
