Now, here's another problem. Quite often in the past I seemed to get missed when mails were sent. Hiere is definitely one example. You comment to Roy, but I don't know to what it refers because I never got his mail. And especially when you use the exclamation mark, I certainly want to know what it's about.
I assume Roy suggested announcing a "best" image. I think that if voting is by the membership, that would be bad. But how about voting only by the submitters, and a submitter would not be able to vote for his/her own submission. Eh??

The “problem” with awards such as BEST is that it is bound to provoke misunderstandings.
I tried a bit of this by including a thumbnail in each update message to see if that might elicit visits or maybe a response.
Has not worked yet. I don’t know how to make the gallery sort of interactive in some way.
But I will remove the size limit and post “what you send I post” - and work with pairs as you suggested
