She wouldn’t even agree to thinking that a 25 year consignment was odd. I’ve never had a consignment for more than a couple of years and mostly dealers try to steal my work by rebranding it and selling it on. IT’s happened at least 5 times.
Does anybody on this list have a publicist? Possibly a good one?

Good luck with that Jan.. if you don’t have her signature, agreeing to that deal.... I’d be happy to get the original $10k.
OK -
This is a question about what to do.
25 years ago, I sent an art dealer a requested bundle of prints numbering 40 in all. They would sell them to a client for about $250 each. They were gold-toned 5x7’s and were beautiful. The dealer called and was astounded by how they looked. She said she would have a check for me soon.
There ensued a lengthy silence. I mean really lengthy. So lengthy I forgot about it.
Yesterday (25 years later) I get n email saying she is looking for me. “Oh, I found some prints of yours. I think they’re 8x10’s.” She followed that statement with a discourse on what she had been doing for 25 years.
She wanted my address to I guess return them or perhaps to send me a check. She did not say.
In checking with the Weird Platoon of my various friends, I asked for opinions. How should I respond?
How would y’all respond??
I told her she could send me a check for the value of the prints in 2018 dollars, which is about $450 each net, or she could send me rental fees for the 25 year duration which is a lot more - $200k.
I sent her a bill this morning for $25,000 and demanded immediate payment.
Got any opinions?
