As one member stated I also do some slide copying using my Canon 5D II and a copy stand saved from the film days and modified to accept the camera. A Honeywell Repronar. It is equipped with a very good copy lens. I also have a Kenro Spectra 1000 slide copier which has a tungsten lamp and also RGB dichroic filters to mess with the color balance. Use a Componon f/2.8 enlarging lens. The Repronar system is OK but have to wait for flash to recharge while the Kenro is faster. I also have a Plustek film scanner. It runs with SilverFast … good thing about this scanner is that it has dust “removal” capability and this is a real time saver. Downside is that it takes a minute or two per slide depending on resolution. for quickie scans I use the camera … for more demanding results or if I don’t want to spend the time spotting the dust I use the Plustek. which reminds me I loaned it to a friend about 2 months ago … hmmmm Andy > > On 21 בדצמ׳ 2017, at 19:12, Bob <w8imo@xxxxxxxx> wrote: > > I have a large number of mounted slides and want "digitize" them. > Does anyone have information on how I can do that? > Thanks and Happy Holidays > > Bob > -- > Never trust atoms.....
