I am planning to drive to a friend's farm near Paducah. 700 mile trip. Hopefully it is not overcast!!
Will be using a Questar 5 inch for the close-up at totality although a shorter telephoto would also work.
A second camera will be equipped with a 50 or 100 mm lens.Problem is I have too many telephoto
lenses and only two digital cameras. Guess I could load up a couple of film cameras too.
But the thing to remember is not to devote too much time to the cameras and simply take in the eclipse naturally!

Our farm in York, SC, is right in the path of the eclipse. I've ordered glasses and a telescope from B&H and hope to figure out how to take photos. The forecast is for partly cloudy skies, so we will see!!
