However, the best way to know how your print will look on a
given printer, at a given size and resolution is to make the print. No amount of
technical knowledge will give you a better answer and if your printer is
interpolating using all kinds of curves, vectors and tangents... well there's
not much you can do to change it anyway.
My 2c worth... just to irritate the technicians.
I agree and you're bang on - print,
look, adjust. It's subjective anyway as to whether a print looks
