4x5 trannies scanned at 1000 ppi only give you 20 MP.... but possibly the color gradation might be good... I got fabulous results from my 30 MP back beautiful color and tone. And they looked wonderful as 11x14 proofs. But in a half-page ad in an industry magazine or as a banner pic on a website... it may as well have been shot on a DX camera... for the 90MP boys that make it pay... I envy you.On Tue, Feb 21, 2017 at 3:17 AM Randy Little <randyslittle@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:On Mon, Feb 20, 2017 at 6:45 PM, Pablo Coronel <pablo.coronel.70@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Shooting film, yes.. i just enjoy exercizing my old clunkersPrinting... not so much.... Looking forward to being done with the same project. Hoping this winter is the final one.
I went digital in 2004. Have no desire to look back. I do, however, use purveyors of chemical prints for large color pieces, but b&w on art papers is very appealing.
