I guess you could say Ruth had a vested interest. When I found out she was a lesbian who shot female nudes I just about burst out in smiles with wonder. She was working with material she loved, so no wonder her nudes were incredible. I finally began looking for a print of ‘Nude in a Box’ but wow are they pricey. There’s one on eBay right now - 5.5x9.5” for only $12000.
