I spent much of my career having 50,000 competitors and that was fine. But now everybody is trying to become a photographer and now I have 500 million competitors and it is not so fine.

Thank you for sharing this article. I suspect, like with any list like this, we could all add plenty of other names.

One trend I find interesting, and encouraging, is the number of the models I’ve photographed who are now doing their own photography. These women have either studied formally or just paid attention while on the other side of the camera. They are photographing each other creating wonderful images.
