PF list members, I have been informed by the gallery staff that there are a couple more openings for the gallery (exhibit) space available. They will delay the update until these spots are filled. On another note, there is an opportunity coming up for you to make an “astrophotograph” this weekend particularly if you live in North America. There will be a total eclipse of the Moon this Sunday. Not only that the Moon will be at its closes approach to Earth and will appear to be about 15% larger (hard to notice this though!) than at other times. Of course this guid-up in apparent size and subsequent decrease are gradual … very gradual … so if you wait till the next day or photograph on Saturday you probably will not notice much of difference from day to day! In any case, it is a conjunction of events that is fairly unusual and making a photograph might be considered a challenge or simply something to do if you have little else to do. :) g’day!
