I like it too, and I usually don’t like crowd shots. It exhibits a certain kind of balance which is not just in the marcher’s formation, but also their clothes.

And I like Randy’s crawling soldier - it’s always nice to see clever ideas getting used.

My car is overblown with too much art directing by people who should have taken up another line of work. I finally had to kick them out the studio so I could attempt to salvage their mishmash. They fiddled around for two weeks and finally on the night before the deadline it came together.

I like this photo. I would prefer a very small amount of space behind the gentle man on the left, yet it doesn't detract from the photo, because, for me, the photo is not about perfection. You caught the colors of the late afternoon and clothes, and the determination in the faces of the participants. These features bring out the "what-for" of the photo, a diversity of participants, that are homogeneous in their purpose and mission. Well done.
