A few personal comments/opinions about the photographs by PhotoForum members at http://people.rit.edu/andpph/gallery.html

Klaus Knuth - Missing Man Formation - while this arrangement of planes is quite conventional it never ceases to impress.

Art Faul - B-17 above Omaha Beach and English Channel - effective composite to be sure. The identification of the location is info that in this case helps convey a story.

Yoram Gelman - while the photograph may be about buildings the thing that makes it is the little story going on between the two men and the woman with her shopping bags.

Emily Ferguson - Snowy Egress - I think many of us on the US east coast are quite relieved that the Winter is finally over. Good bye snow and ice!	… if only for a while.

John Palcewski - Distance - good, clean photograph conveying what the title mentions. A classic composition well seen and photographed in my opinion.

Randy Little - Valley Forge, PA. - I think this is a difficult thing to do ... that is. to convey and evoke a sense of the place and the history connected with it through a landscape photograph. Probably done as well as it can be done here though. The clouds and location of the Sun help with the feelings associated with the place.

Chris Strevens - the motor - is the motor.

Andy
