Didn't he eventually get forced to make a deal with Sharbat about sales on this image? If I were a wealthy executive of some company whose moral posture was involved with peace, women's educational rights etc. in Afghani society and 99% of the profit from the sale went to some organization which was working for similar goals I would bid on that print.
