Even better, Apple did not kill PPC/Intel emulated software until 10.9 - I run Polaroid Dust & Scratches on 10.6.8 whenever I need it on an older iMac 27”. The Polaroid software was written in 2001 and AFAIK does not run on 10.9. Apple is working feverishly to force everybody to move to the Cloud so they have another product to sell.
Actually I have an os 9 box running for one piece of software that is awesome and doesnt exist anymore.

Power PC software/hardware on Macs is LONG gone. For a while after the change to Intel processors in 2006 it was still possible to use PPC stuff, but even that is now no longer possible, so no-one should now regard Power PC hardware or software as other than completely obsolete. My two PPC laptops and two Cubes I keep as mere curiosities, still in excellent working order, but useful only for browsing or email.
