Well thats all great. But I have corporate accounts with stores that give me better prices then what I can get locally. In fact Samy's in los angeles has an in store penalty on my account. So I don't even go into the store unless I have too. I can order online and just pick up at the store if I need to. My accounts in NYC are with B&H and K&M. I had an account with calumet for a long time but I hardly ever used it because they prices where always high. I know very few professionals that go to the store.

I do if prices are the same. I like to buy local and support the local economy. Also it is sometimes nice if I need service.

Does anyone on this list still buy their equipment and materials from a real brick and mortar store anymore? Sobering news in
Chicago today is that Calumet US has ceased operations and shut down for good. A quick call to Calumet UK assures me that they are
and will remain open for the foreseeable future. I guess the moral to this store is that if you don't want the last of your camera
shops to close their doors, buy from them when you can instead of the faceless places on Amazon and ebay.
