Yeah when ever I see those kind of statements about art and photography I just point to Duchamp and say READ.

Guess I’ll have to change my biog and not tell people I am an artist any more. I’ve been asking my agents, dealers, galleries, and others for years if I am shooting art or commerce and nobody has ever said I am a commercial artist unless it’s a shot of a beer bottle or a truck. Even then I try to make the product look like art. I had to, as mostly the ‘art directors’ had something else in mind.

Randy,

This was in response to Dan Mitchell’s earlier comment:

"At this link are one of the very very few places where I would say that art and photography really meet."

Klaus I don't like that term Where art and photography meet.   Its to me like saying its a place where paint and art met.  I have seen this put a person in a painting gag for what pushing 100 years now.   Some one just has good PR.

I think this is easily another place (where art and photography meet) -  just modern art and not the old masters.
