They can these days. But thats just a naming issues fixed by taking out the character. The header database would has rules. The rules are getting more lax not more striked. That still doesn't explain cs3 smart filters. I did find that that cs3 had abug long gone now with smart filters. It was fixed in an updated in cs3 or so they say. It caused the files to not copy for what ever reason.
