Is there an app we can use to make us think of snotty babies whenever the photoforum gets high jacked by conversations on peripheral topics?

Yeah, that’s what I think every time I see a snotty comment here - they’re all just babies.

If you photographed sweet little babies and did your web address on them I bet their parents wouldn't complain.

Lea,
1. this work good as far as yur work is good.
2. About the stolen pictures from your FB pages - you have to put your web address at the bottom of each image (on the image) so it will be handy to every one who like your work.

My website had a 'blog' link that takes the viewer to my professional FB page. My web address is on everything my clients receive.

I post at least one portrait from every session to my Facebook page…usually within the hour of doing the session. This creates interest from the parents (I photograph newborns, infants, children) as they can 'share' the image on their wall, tag family members and leave comments for me.

When the image is shared to a parent's 'wall' it becomes visible to all that parent's friends which creates more interest in the portrait and my work.

I can't tell you how many clients I have who come to me because they saw my portrait on their friend's wall…even though they haven't seen their friend since high school or college.

I used to do a blog featuring a portrait from each session but the ability to share the images on Facebook opened up a whole new world.

I do know that these images are often 'stolen' and saved to phones and iPads. I got over that in a hurry once I realized how proud people are of their children and how often they show the images to friends which, in turn, generates interest in my work.

If a parent sends me a new client, that parent receives a $50 referral credit which can be used on any product I offer in the studio. They get a little something andy I get a new client. Works wonderfully. I stopped advertising about four years ago.
