I know Tina Manley will try to top this story, but here goes. My lawyer is suing some alleged morons for messing up and causing my foot to need replacement. As part of that presentation, they want to make a movie of me about my average day. For the uninitiated (read this closely Tina) there is no replacement ankle joint like there is for a knee, so they cut your foot off instead and force patients into wheelchairs or onto prosthetic feet which are not under the skin, but over it. There is a huge difference, as when I get out of bed in the morning I look down and only see one foot. Then I transfer to a wheelchair and my day begins. I need to make a movie and rather than having a guy show up with a ton of gear, I’m thinking of making an iPhone movie myself. I know about blur, tripods and most of the things not to do. Pini’s discussion below has given me strength to try it on my own. Tomorrow I will get out my phone and leave the 5D in the closet. I will let you know how I do. The phone will not be going in the shower with me, as there is no underwater iPhone case yet. Or if there is, I don’t have one. Maybe a Ziplok bag will do the trick. Or I can call Robert White in Poole and have them conjure one up. Robert White btw, for those who know him, is very ill with the big C and not at the store right now. I hope he pulls through, as he is a guy who revolutionized the buying of photo gear in the 1980’s. Through the years, I bought all my Noblexes from him. I wish him well.
