(The following is not to disrespect what you have done but to open the eyes of many to what ACTUALLY EXIST in America) My mother lives in an area of Colorado where people every day walk 3-4 miles EACH WAY just to catch the bus that takes them to work at some shitty minimum wage job that might cover the bills because they think taking government handouts is wrong. Are they AS POOR as say my wifes family was when living in post war Okinawa. Where her mother at age 6 became the woman of the house because the rest of the family was killed by the war? NO. Have you been to the Colorado Plateau or a reservation in Wyoming? I know they are Brownish but I never see anyone shooting the poverty of the native american reservation. You know they don't all have casino's. Most are in places that aren't on the way of anyone who would stop by. I dig what you do but Jan's point about stopping by Say Harris park Colorado or St. james MO. or a reservation in Colorado or Wyoming where the Government is to this day violating the treaties we made with them. Suicide rates on the reservations can be measured in whole % instead of per 100,000. (my family in California came off the reservation in Oklahoma in the late 1900's so its like a family thing for me)
