Subject: printer suggestions?
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a reasonably priced cheapie printer that
will do a pretty great job printing business materials on good quality plain
paper stock. Some will include photographs so it's important they look good.
I've been using my Epson 3800 to do it but it's not doing a great job on the
plain paper and I can't seem to find settings that will.
Can anyone suggest a printer that will handle text and photos well on good
plain paper?
I'd definitely suggest looking into laser printers, a lot are selling for
ridiculously cheap prices - making the profits on the inks.. but bargains
are to be had. A large retailer here in Oz was selling a very nice $600
laser printer for $89 at one point.. people were buying them, keeping the
inksets and onselling or throwing out the actual printers. awesome business
decision, Major Retailer.. and it's not like they did this just once either
! maybe looking over some of the printer supply websites at the specials or
promotions on a regular basis will pick you up a similar bargain
I'd also suggest getting along to a business center or laser specialist and
having a look at the print output then going a search on google for your
model + "laser printer comparison cost per page" and seeing what you see
maybe a place to start:
