The saga ends..... The
Alaskan cruise trip is with our son-in-laws Mom
and Step Dad. . I talked with T today and it seems that her in
laws bought them a camera. I don't know from where but they have
the T3i kit without the RGPB. Seems like our grand son was in
cahoots with his other grand parents.
Thanks for all the input.

PSCS 6 is about to come out. The Beta was released

This software bundle is not PSCS 6 compatible.
So my next question is does she actually imagine needing any of
that stuff? Does she have enough skill with PS to know what she
can and can't make it do without loading it up with add-ons like
those? Is she interested in what those apps can do? Has she got
teachers or friends who use those sorts of design features in
their work?
In addition there are other questions related to the cost of this
purchase.
Will she have to buy more RAM, or an external drive just to deal
with her new camera? How current is her computer? Is it fast
enough to handle the new camera? Will she need Canon flashes?
Finally, is the glass coming with her consumer-quality Canon also
Canon glass? If not, I suggest she bite the bullet and buy Canon
glass. There is still a respectable difference.
Just some thoughts.
