You all did very well ... I am impressed by the Lissajous reference and the use of a reflecting (non metallic) surface to produce polarized light - the LCD solution is, of course, the little known but logical one. The polarizing sunglasses are an (the) insightful solution as well. Hope you had fun! Andy
