I have to agree with Mark.  I have a photographer friend in Iowa who did shoot her son's wedding and she hated it since it took her away from the wedding.  When her daughter got married, she flew me to Iowa from NC to shoot her daughter's wedding and she was much happier that way.   A bride's parents have a lot of stress on the wedding day and the last thing you need is the extra stress.    Of course Rob, that's why you're asking for recommendations!!!

I don't know anyone in Rochester other than Andy.  I'd recommend me (and I do travel) but you should be able to find someone local.  Hopefully Andy will have some recommendations.

My suggestion is to be a dad and enjoy the day.  Since I don't have kids, its not a decision I will ever have to make but I might not even take a camera that day.  A wise man once said that on every little girls wedding day is a proud papa and a mama that thought she could have done better. lol

My daughter just got engaged. Do you have any suggestions for a Rochester wedding photographer?
