sorry, no chance of losing your data, upgrade proccess does not delete, and 95% did not remove registry entries.
however, there are some issues that occur occationally, like start menu reset to defalt and all your links to programs are "missing", and some softwares does not like upgrades and you might need to reinstall them, but they are a small section that most likly you don't have.
the most importent is that you upgrade from the same service pack to the same service pack otherwize it is really an upgrade/downgrade and you will lose your profile and software registry keys, but never your data.
