That's very helpful Emily. Didn't think about the ram. Monitor is about a 23 inch on the desktop. I hope that is big enough because space is limited and I don't think bigger would be practical.
Anyone find the Waccum tablets helpful? I know a lot of the graphic designers love them, but I can't draw stick figures with Heidi Klum as the model. Might not be a bad day though if I had to try:-)

max out every possible scrap of RAM. LR is just another one of those
multiple-windows-and-none-of them-big-enough-to
see-what's-actually-happening apps.
