Dan Mitchell - Your place or MINE ! This at first glance is interesting, but then on closer examination there doesn't immediately appear to be any connection between the birds and the buildings--unless, of course, they are apartment complexes. You know the saying, if you have to explain the joke, it's not really a joke! Bob McCulloch - Sunrise Seems to me that the big expanse of the sky could be cropped from the top, which would make the scene more uniform and coherent. By that I mean the upper portion seems more like daylight, whereas the bottom is more like dawn, so eliminating the contradiction pulls everything together. Rob Talbot - Portmeirion Detail This may well be about the best abstraction of British eccentricity that I've seen. The crazy folks in the UK seem, to me at least, entirely more appealing and attractive than the lunatics that are currently populating (or should I say polluting) the US political scene. Sherie Taylor - Fair If I were shooting this I'd put a telephoto on a high shutter speed and pan the individual riders to capture their expressions. A tight shot of a face showing either excitement or fear would convey more than a surprisingly static overall shot.
