As I recollect it, there was only one pass the camera event, but that 3
cameras were circulated around the world.
I still remember the picture I took, and do remember seeing it on the web,
but cannot remember the web location.
Why not try another "Pass the Camera" event, but change the procedures. Ask
members to take just 1 picture in their neighbourhood given a 1 week window,
most will do this digitally these days, then send in for a display.

I'm trying to recall. Weren't there two pass the camera events? I know
that I participated in one of them, but perhaps not the other. Did we ever
see the photographs? It seems to me that I drove over to the 1930's San
Jacinto Monument* and photographed it with the disposal camera. I don't
recall ever seeing the image.

Jan said that the Smithsonian want the stuff because its primacy.
Of course this didn't happened after he had confiscated the film.

Actually, he did release the film to another member of the group, and
she (I

I’m not.
He didn’t had a chemical disaster.
He had a film that was shot by many members including him but for
unknown
reason (I can only guess…) the outcome didn’t pleased him and he had
decided
not to show it to the group members.
This deed was not agreed by all the group but he didn’t changed his
mind.
A very unsocial behavior .

I, for one, miss Jan's contributions and his diatribes. As I recall,
he
left the list after he had a chemical disaster with the first pass the
camera project and many of us severely criticized him for his
failure--as if
none of us had ever failed....
