David I think we all suspect you have picked up some sort of virus, trojan or malware. First thing you might try is a different antivirus software. Sometimes when you install new stuff it catches some of what the old one misses. I haven't used them but several places have online virus scans too. Some people I know have found them helpful. If you know what it is, you can research that.
Anyone that hasn't caught a virus of some sort can relax. There turn is coming.
