Curiosity!:  I enjoy photographs like this - showing animals doing something we can all relate to.  It's a beautiful cat, too. The colors in the photograph are eye catching (the bright blue tub). Good job.

Pini Vollach
Tree:  A unique perspective.  The shadows are crisp and dark, the neatly trimmed grass a perfect canvas for this art.  Bravo!

Dan Mitchell
Graffiti:  I agree, Dan, many graffiti artists are talented and do beautiful work (I wish this were true of all of them).  This is a fascinating photograph and I (reluctantly) admit the graffiti makes an artistic statement.

Handmade Paper:  Your mother-in-law is very talented, Elson.  I wish I could meet her.  I've been experimenting with paper making for several years and I love the process.  This is a well done photograph and the paper is exquisite.

Christopher Strevens
Me in detention:  Your work is always very personal and revealing, Chris.  I admire you for your forthrightness and honesty.  Your photographs tell a story, and that's an important element in the art of photography.

Lea Murphy
Edyn, nine days:  Your work is always to be admired, Lea.  You show your subjects with compassion and beauty.  (The baby is adorable).

Falls at Lower Emerald Pool:  Beautiful.  I really like the softness of the background, which makes the falls and greenery jump out.  I'd love to be at that location right now.  Thank you for taking us there via your photograph, Jack.

Ice Disks:  I've never seen anything like this before and I would love to know how this (the disks) came to be.  It's wonderful being able to see things through submitted photographs that I would never get a chance to see in person.  The disks remind me of lily pads.

Road Kill:  There is something so sad and almost spiritual (this isn't the right word, but it's the best I can do) about a dead bird.  They are so delicate, harmless and free-spirited.  I've often thought of photographing a bird found lifeless in my yard, but I've never done it (I feel as if I am intruding)  There is a beauty in this bird, however.

Andrew Davidhazy
Chicago Lights:  Your work is always innovative and exciting, Andy.  You accomplish so much and are so giving with your time and talents. . . .  This photograph is a great example of a photographer's mind that visits other dimensions.

Thank you to all who sumbmitted and to Andy and staff.  This is a great show!
