I too like the lamp although I have a friend who
thinks it is too much of a prop. I don't disagree about the crop but will have
to play with it more. I felt is was OK as is but you might be
right.
I'm pleased you like the film look. It proves that
there is a difference since the image was made with a Nikon F100 on TMX-400
film. This particular version is scanned from the negative with an inexpensive
scanner. I have made a darkroom print of this which looks pretty much the
same.
