Why do you have to choose between Jpegs or Raw?
I shoot both. I use the Jpegs for image previews, sorting and all that
stuff but just in case I should accidentally take a good photo, I have
the RAW file to work with so that I might make a perfect version of it.


Sounds the perfect way to go.. my digital doesn't support that tho :/


It messes up my workflow; most of my tools don't handle paired files that have to be kept associated very well. And it wastes disk space; that jpeg is just surplus bits, no extra information in it.
