thanks all for your gracious comments.. I kinda needed them, cos there are so much behind this photo....

the couple asked me to photo the wedding....I resisted enough for them to arrange with a pro, so then I had the liberty to shoot B&W...Due to miscalculating the church lightning conditions and the flash power there were NONE salvagable frames from the ceremony...

on top of that a BETTER photo moment than the one shown was lost when the film got torn from its spool and exposed to room light...In it there was another back shot with the groom holding the bride's long gown(?) while they were walking down the stairs! DAMN!

I like this photo.  Sometimes a lot of emotion can be carried from behind.  Had the point of view been the front, the emotion conveyed by the hands would be lost.  Good spot and decision to shoot this!

Kostas Papakotas = a friends' wedding.  This is the sort of carefully
observed, non-traditional detail that makes a wedding album unique.
Engaging shot, well done!

A unique and effective view from the usual wedding photograph. I suspect you did not pose them like this. It might have been interesting, if you had control, if the bride had turned her head so you could see her face.
