I hate to let the gallery go by without saying anything, especially since we've had no gallery at all for quite a while, but I'm struggling here with stuff, not quite sure what to make of much of it.

             John Retallack -

About the most that comes to mind here is "why". What motivated the photographer to assemble the ingredients in this photo the way he did. Further information might be useful, at least to give a clue.

             Andrew Sharpe - Magnolia Pod

For all the iconic peppers in the history of photography, this beats them out for sheer lewdness!

             Dan Mitchell - Trees

Interesting effect - it seems like there's a mirror imaging effect here. I think I feel it because of the bright yellow line down the center, broken by the darker area towards the bottom. But that seems to be an artifact of the pale orange stain. Aside from that, this image does not draw me to the woods.

Roy Miller - Cat Packed and Waiting to Travel

Oh, man. Just try to zip up that suitcase and you'll see that ain't no packed cat! I do also love these moments from domestic life with cats, and sympathize enormously with the impulse to share them.

             John Palcewski - It's Over

I would like just a little more light in the man's face. And I admire anyone who has the courage to get out in the streets and take these sorts of photographs. The camera has the attribute of making the photographer a voyeur, and I'm only comfortable with that if I have a press pass.

There are no photographs awaiting installation. Send yours sometime soon!
