here's a question..
For years films from the popular film makers had
real problems reproducing soft mauves like a jacaranda flower and soft fawn
colours - Konica's VX range could get these colours down with little
problem. It took Fuji 15 or so years to replicate a film that was
similar.. in fact so similar when you plotted the film you'd almost swear it was
the same film. (can't recall what the fuji stuff was called, I only ever tested
it - it cost 3 times what the Konica stuff did)
How many people never noticed these mauves and
fauns were so badly off in all other films, reproducing them as blues and
pinks?
Why did few people bother to change to the Konica
range?
is near enough good enough if your preferred
colours look vibrant?
