Crazy things with cameras

Sorry, I deleted Karl's original post asking what the craziest thing we had done with our cameras.  I try not to do crazy things with expensive devices but....   One time I did loan my Nikonos to a friend who was going on a wilderness canoing trip thinking that it would survive the water if he had a mishap.  Neither of us counted on the mishap being 80 feet up on a cliff and involving many bounces off rocks before falling into quite deep water.  Another time I leaned out a train window in the mountains to get a great view of the train going around a bend when an intoxicated passenger next to me lurched against me and I watched the camera go tumbling down a mountain side.  Maybe it is good that I live in Iowa, a relatively flat state.
