Rather than printing on the print back itself, I bet you could easily design and print on a label. They come in lots of sizes and then just stick it on the back of your print.

It worse than that. Printing on the back of gloss  RC paper can't be done with dye or pigment inkjets. You also can't print with dye or pigment on the back of commercial (scenic)postcards
