I use a copy stand with 2 strip lights at 45 degrees.
A hinged glass plate can be used to flatten them if needed
I used a sinar 44h with 60mm lens
The worksurface is tabletop height so its convenient to sit on a stool
or stand

Subject: Shooting greeting cards

I have a project involving the photography of handmade greeting cards. I

put each card on the floor and shoot with the camera lens 90 degrees to
the floor, so that the sensor is parallel to the card. I have an
umbrella with a wireless flash on it for light.

I have a little problem, however. The legs of the tripod that I'm using
to stabilize the camera is sometimes visible, or gets in the way of the
flash, creating mild but unwanted shadows near the cards.

What equipment should I use instead of a tripod?

Elson
