Karl,

Checking the Sony site on the new alpha 900, it says "Minolta AF lenses", so I believe the older manual focus ones cannot be used.

Can't remember if the 9000 series of Minolta was AF lenses, the later 900Si was. But I cannot use lenses from the old SRT101 or 303 as they were MF/

Ken asks
Hi all...

A friend has just asked me if I know of any current digital SLRs can,
by means of an adaptor, take the lenses from his somewhat aging
Minolta 900 (or... should that be 9000? ).... I am not digitally minded
and my memory is a lot shorter than it used to be.

The Sony Alpha's including the new alpha 900 24Mp will take the lenses
without an adapter :)
