One thing I forgot to mention in the article. When photographing events where other people are popping their flashes, you need to cover the Wein Slave with your hand when not shooting. Otherwise, every time someone pops their flash, yours will go off too, draining the battery. Probably better to use a radio slave, like Pocket Wizard, in those situations.

Lots of fun when the slaved flashes are clamped somewhere that you can't reach and had set up beforehand.
