By coincidence a friend showed me his laser focus aid Sunday.  It is a
green astronomy pointer that he says is useful for doing dim interiors.
Got it from Amazon.  It is a passive device not a detector or measuring
gadget. I'd like to see a measuring device that works at larger
distances than 100' I need it to set footage scale for camera with no
viewfinder.
